The purpose of the ES-225A is to interface and synchronize a computer, a voice recorder or other equipment that accepts ASCII with a Master Clock or Master Timer (that has an ESE Time Code output). Master Clocks not equipped with an ESE Time Code output may be interfaced to a computer, etc. by using a different ESE Time Code Converter (e.g. SMPTE into ASCII, IRIG into ASCII, etc.).

- J---220 VAC/50 Hz Operation: The unit is configured to operate from 220 VAC line voltage. 117 VAC 50/60 Hz is standard.
- UL"UL" Approved Power Supply: The unit is supplied with a UL/CSA approved wall mount power supply.
