The ES-290 is a portable Time Code Generator which outputs IRIG-B and ASCII (RS-232C) Time Codes. Two (2) One Pulse Per Second outputs and an external Time Code Lock output are also standard features. The unit may be synchronized to an external source of IRIG-B -- then will free-run using its internal TCXO when the external signal is removed. Several options are available.

Product Options:
B---Parallel BCD Output: CMOS compatible, 5-volt logic in parallel four-line format is accessible through a rear-mounted D-sub connector.
F---Fuse: A panel mounted fuse is supplied. An internally mounted fuse is standard.
Display---.4" LED Display: Six digit 0.4" red LED display for Airborne units.
HQ-In---"Have Quick" Time Code Input: Option allows the unit to be synchronized with a "Have Quick" Input and a 1PPS Input. The 1 PPS is required for accuracy. This Option meets the ICD-GPS-060 standard.
SMPTE/EBU---SMPTE or EBU Time Code outputs: SMPTE or EBU Time Code outputs may be specified (not available with IRIG).
