Ethernet to serial converters allow the MediaMaster System to control and manage display assets anywhere in the school’s data network. The dual-port version is most useful where there are two related devices located near each other. It lets you bring in a single network cable to control both devices. The device converts between 10/100Base-T Ethernet and RS-232 serial at up to 230 kbit/sec. The converter gets its power from a typical wall-mounted power supply, which is included.
