EvertzAV Announces IPMX Support on NUCLEUS
Posted on Thursday, December 11, 2025

Burlington, Canada. December 10, 2025 – EvertzAV, a division of Evertz Microsystems Ltd. and a global leader in professional AVoIP solutions, is pleased to announce the addition of IPMX support to its NUCLEUS platform at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2026. With IPMX as an open standard and specification, NUCLEUS now delivers enhanced interoperability, higher performance, and broader deployment flexibility for Pro AV environments of any scale.

NUCLEUS is a cost-effective, easy-to-deploy AV-over-IP distribution and control platform that leverages COTS network switches to deliver high-quality, ultra-low-latency UHD (4K) video, multi-channel audio, KVM, USB/HID, and control over 1G, 2.5G, and 10GbE networks. Designed for environments ranging from meeting rooms and classrooms to security monitoring, training labs, and digital signage, NUCLEUS requires no programming, features a drag-and-drop user interface, and scales seamlessly from single-room deployments to multi-building campuses.

The addition of IPMX to the NUCLEUS UXP AV Gateways introduces support for the JPEG XS TDC profile which enables ultra-low-latency, visually lossless UHD (4K60/4:4:4) transport, ideal for sharing high-resolution laptop content from corporate meeting rooms to classrooms.

“We’re excited to bring IPMX support to the NUCLEUS platform,” said Paulo Francisco, Vice President of Engineering at EvertzAV. “With IPMX and JPEG XS TDC, NUCLEUS now delivers higher-quality UHD workflows with minimal latency. This gives our customers a flexible, standards-based foundation that’s easy to deploy, simple to manage, and ready for Pro AV applications.”

As part of the IPMX upgrade, the NUCLEUS Session Manager now functions as a powerful NMOS Controller and Orchestrator to provide high availability networking and expansive thirdparty devices support, while maintaining a simplified approach over managing AVoIP across COT switches. The Session Manager also supports High Availability deployments, providing system redundancy and ensuring continuous operation in mission-critical Pro AV environments such as command-and-control rooms, operations centers, government facilities, and large enterprise networks.

Key Capabilities for Pro AV

• Ultra-low-latency JPEG XS TDC profile for UHD (4K60/4:4:4) video

• Support for 1G, 2.5G, and 10GbE network infrastructures

• No programming required with intuitive drag-and-drop UI

• Integrated KVM, USB/HID routing, and multi-source switching

• High Availability Session Manager with redundant NMOS Controller/Orchestrator

• Scalable from small rooms to campuses over standard COTS switches

With IPMX as its latest addition, NUCLEUS continues to offer one of the industry’s most flexible and user-friendly AVoIP platforms, giving AV and IT teams the performance, control, and interoperability required for modern Pro AV deployments.
