OMEGA HD deck by FFV is a high definition broadcast quality digital video recorder based on JPEG2K compression. Available in either single- or dual-channel configurations with simultaneous play and record, it delivers all the advantages of HD images, and the random access non-linear benefits of hard-disk media. With gigabit Ethernet control and front-side USB 2.0 port to upload and download images, the Omega HD also provides the ultimate in control and flexibility. Compatible with FFV’s Xi deck and NDT-200, recordings made from either device can be played through the Omega HD. The LCD video panel features an adjustable viewing angle while also providing access to the record and playback settings. The Omega HD is the ideal replacement for standard definition DVRs and analog tape decks.
