Nevion, formerly Network/VPG, a leading video transport solution provider for broadcasters, service providers and government entities worldwide, today announced the addition of Steve Wong, who will take a senior role within the US sales team.

 “Steve brings very specific broadcast TV and post production market knowledge to Nevion,” said Eugene Keane, president of Nevion USA. “He’s worked with all of the major broadcast and post production equipment manufacturers, TV networks, movie studios, cable companies, group broadcast owners, post production houses, system integrators and dealers. We’re fortunate to add such a strategic and seasoned player to our team.”

Based in Los Angeles, Wong will be responsible for managing relationships with OEMs and other major content creation and distribution clients on the west coast.

Most recently, Wong served as senior vice president for HomeRun Media, a system integration company with clients such as Warner Bros, Lifetime, TVGuide and Disney/ABC Television. Prior to this, he was national sales manager for Teranex, maker of video format conversion equipment. He’s also held a regional sales manager position at Leitch, now part of Harris, a provider of broadcast communications technology.

Wong holds a BBA degree in Economics from the University of St. Thomas.
