The Ocean Matrix OMX-05HMHM0002 HDMI audio extractor is the right tool for the job. The 05HMHM0002 extracts L/R analog RCA audio, Toslink optical and HDMI audio from any HDMI source. It includes an HDMI looping output for monitor and TV connection.
The Ocean Matrix 05HMHM0002 HDMI extractor features 10-bit HDR pass through and a smart EDID management system to preserve the original video. It supports resolutions up to 4K2K at 50/60Hz. The ARC (audio return channel) function allows audio to be sent back from the receiver to the transmitter, eliminating the need for extra audio cables.
