This ONYX Series DVI Routing Switcher represents a new generation of routers that switch DVI digital signals.It integrates the reliability of fixed I/O routing switchers and the flexibility of modular routing switchers into one. Any combinations of the dedicated 4-Channel Input Modules, 4-Channel Output Modules and Cross-Point Switching Modules. It is widely used in many applications for switching of high-bandwidth digital video signals not using HDCP protocol for copy protection. The switcher uses DVI-I connectors. It supports resolution up to 1920×1200 over DVI single link at 48Hz, 50Hz or 60Hz or on 1080p supported HDTV. DDC2B (Display Data Channel) support protocol enables the switcher to turn on displays at any time. It also features EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) which allows the switcher to copy EDID parameters on downstream equipment to any inputs and/or configure any inputs using the default EDID parameters. Multiple control interfaces include RS-232/422, TCP/IP, CAN and C-BUS.ONYX Series DVI Routing Switcher is used in many applications, such as broadcasting and TV, video conferencing and monitoring.
