The SEQUOIA 5103 series is a modular 2×1 protection changeover unit. It is designed for SEQUOIA Series Intelligent Signal Processing System. The 5103 series provides a main input, a backup input and an auxiliary input for each channel. It sends the input video and audio signals to the detector and the switch individually. Changeover mode can be selected Auto or Manual. The 5103 series detects the input health status in real time and identifies signals based on the predetermined conditions in case of loss. It will route the corresponding valid inputs for output in priority of Main, Backup and Auxiliary Inputs under automation; while sending an alarm to the control panel to alert the operator for switching in manual mode. The 5103 series transmits the signal status and changeover result to the control panel in real time. LED indicator on module edge shows the status of signals, and the adjustment switch can adjust the parameters manually. Module with independent rear panel is used in SEQUOIA 1RU or 2RU frame. The 5103 series supports the function of network monitoring of SEQUOIA series platform. The module can be controlled and monitored via SEQUOIA network control module and SQ-MASTER platform control software.
