The Control 4 (CTLXX4) has been replaced by Control 5 (CTLXX5) which supports Server 2008 R2 and Server 2012. From a functional perspective, Users will not see a difference between these two versions. There are no changes in features or performance. Control 5 will install a copy of Embarcadero InterBase XE3 to support the Control Server. Uninstalling Embarcadero InterBase XE3 will prevent Control 5 Server from operating. Control Server 5 is only available to run as a service, it will not run as an application.
