The P.Audio Compact 4.4 is a small-format, high performance speaker designed for foreground / background applications in a variety of installations. The Compact 4.4's modern cosmetic design integrates well into upscale spaces where music and / or speech is part of the overall experience. Its 4-inch woofer features a special coating that improves its mechanical damping thereby improving its intelligibility. The Compact 4.4 utilizes P Audio's renowned high temperature voice coils for added reliability. The HF section features a horn-loaded 1-inch mylar dome. The system provides balanced low-frequency response with excellent directivity. The Compact 4.4 also features a 4-position input switch on its input panel that provides selection of 8 ohm impedance or 35 watt, 25 watt or 15 watt taps at 70.7 or 100 volts. The Compact 4.4 is available in black or white finishes and is supplied with a load-tested structural steel U-Bracket for safe permanent installation. The Compact 4.4 is sold and shipped in pairs.
