This software upgrade license enables Full-Frame shooting for the VENICE 2 Digital Motion Picture Camera. Activating this VENICE 2 upgrade means users with the 8K sensor can capture and record 8.6K 3:2, 8.2K 17:9, and 7.6K 16:9 X-OCN footage. Users with the 6K sensor can capture and record 6K 3:2, 6K 1.85:1, 6K 17:9, 6K 2.39:1, and 5.7K 16:9 X-OCN footage. They can also output 4K or HD images to viewfinder, SDI and monitor outputs, after down-converting.
