Ural State University Upgrade Classrooms with TechPod Lecterns

UrGUPS Institute in Yekaterinburg city, Ural has recently decided to overhaul their lecture halls and classrooms. The transformation included equipping classrooms with the TechPod Presenter and the larger auditoriums with the TechPod Interactive Lecterns (TPI-12).

This modern cosmopolitan university is setting itself up to be a leader in student oriented services with their classrooms equipped with the latest and greatest lecture / study tools: Interactive built in multimedia capability, single control panel that runs LCD projectors, laptops, CD and DVD players, all safely stored and secured with a specially designed automatic shut off mechanism - simply close the door. But that’s not all; they also integrated their TechPods with a powerful Hitachi 5000 ANSI Lumens projector, 8 Public Address speakers and Da-Lite motorized projection screens. And, the TSR-32 (TechPod Motorized Screen Control) allows for complete control of the projection screen from the TechPod control panel, enabling “presentation mode” at the click of a button.

Ilya Mukhin, Tecom's local integrator, remarked, “With TechPod's installed throughout the facility, UrGUPS is well on its way to ranking a top University for advanced classroom technology”.

We would like to congratulate Ilya on the great work he accomplished with his team, and the University for choosing TechPods!

TechPod Interactive - TechPod Interactive is a breakthrough audio-visual lectern that has every multimedia capability built in. One simple control panel is used for controlling every AV device, from an LCD projector, PC or document camera to a laptop and DVD/VCR player.
