Telemetrics EP5 Televator® Delivers More Performance Versatility

Las Vegas, NV (April 16, 2012) –  Upgrades to the Telemetrics’ EP5 Televator®, which is being featured this week at NAB, provide greater speed and travel range along with a wider range of installation options including a new ceiling mounted configuration. The EP5 remotely controlled motorized telescoping camera mount adds pedestal height control to the Telemetrics pan/tilt product line. The unit can be configured on a floor, flex track or ceiling mount for added versatility.

“Telemetrics camera robotics and control systems play an integral role in today’s broadcast and production environments. We are continually improving the performance and capabilities of our product line to deliver additional capabilities,” said Anthony Cuomo, Vice President and General Manager, Telemetrics, Inc.

With the new design, the Televator can be mounted on Telemetrics floor dollies or floor mounting plates with optional mounting configurations for trolley, flex track and ceiling mount using the ceiling mount plate or on Telemetrics TG2 and TG3 ceiling track systems. Extending to a maximum height of 65 inches (1667mm), the EP5 features an acceleration speed ranging from 0.2 to 5 inches/second (0.5 – 127mm/sec). It offers an auxiliary control serial interface and positional servo control as well as being convergent capable. A virtual studio option allows the EP5 Televator to be used in virtual studio applications.

Televator is a Trademark of Telemetrics Inc.
