Public Sector Video Technology Veteran, Andy Vaughan, Joins VITEC to Lead ISR and Mission Systems Operations

ATLANTA – Nov. 18, 2020 -- VITEC, a worldwide leader in IP video streaming and video encoding, today announced that industry veteran Andy Vaughan has joined the company as Vice President of Business Development for the company’s Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) & Mission Systems operations.

"Andy brings decades of experience and expertise leveraging video technology to support mission critical objectives to protect our nation and our allies. He will greatly enhance VITEC’s presence in the market as we develop new solutions to address the challenges faced by those charged with keeping us safe."

Vaughan began his career in the U.S. Air Force as a network engineer. He has continued to support the national security community in the private sector at companies like VBrick Systems and Sonic Foundry. He recently served as SVP of U.S. Federal & Global ISR with Haivision. Vaughan brings a proven track record of success developing end-to-end video solutions for mission-critical systems. Based in the Washington, DC area, Vaughan holds an electrical engineering degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
