Las Vegas, Nevada – Caesars Entertainment has unveiled “The Casino of the Future” at The LINQ Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, featuring integration by McCann Systems. The most impressive and immersive AV installation in any casino to date, the newest project connects previously unveiled McCann Systems project The Book to the opposite entrance of The LINQ via digital wayfinding in an installation named DATALAND:LINQ.
Senior Director of Strategic Development at Caesars Entertainment Matthew Kenagy said, “A new, never-before-experienced environment was a critical feature of our redesigned gaming experience.” Matthew continued, “From a technology perspective, we knew that we needed a leading AV integrator along with a mix of tried-and-true products and emerging technology applications,” he said. “After a thorough search, McCann Systems emerged as the best AV integration partner for the project.”
With over 160 displays, thousands of square feet of custom LED, state-of-the-art audio systems, Christie video processing, and a custom control systems designed by McCann Systems and Crestron, the system was brought to life with the help of media artist, Refik Anadol. Anadol worked with McCann to develop DATALAND:LINQ, a digital art installation that weaves through the exterior and interior of the Caesars property at The LINQ. As patrons enter the space, digital artwork becomes reality as the output on the audio and video systems interacts directly with the audience.
In total, approximately 45,000 square feet of The LINQ were converted into new interactivity for guests. The Book and DATALAND are now open to the general public and are featured in the August issue of Systems Contractor News.
