Description

A prestigious consulting firm is moving into the former Peugeot headquarters

On Avenue de la Grande-Armée, to the west of Paris, the Peugeot group had built, between 1963 and 1973, a head office celebrating the automobile and consumer society.

Sold in 2015 by the car manufacturer, whose employees left the premises shortly after, the building now embarks on a new life under the guidance of Gecina, after more than three years of work.

Thus, it is in this complex that the prestigious consulting firm will move after spending more than 13 years in their previous office in Paris 7th: "The subsidiary's growth is such, between 13% and 15% per year, that it needed more space," explains the General Manager France of the firm.

Open to the entire firm's ecosystem, this new headquarters brings together 1,200 team members in one place, uniting all expertise to serve clients.

An eco-friendly design and layout

The building's restructuring favored the use of sustainable materials from the circular economy or existing ones, notably avoiding 83 tons of waste.

The installation of photovoltaic panels contributes daily to the building's electricity supply, and 3 geothermal wells reduce heating and air conditioning needs.

Moreover, a reflection on the employees' usage was conducted to implement layouts that promote virtuous behaviors in terms of consumption or waste management (100% bean coffee machines, water fountains, composting, etc.).

Finally, the building contributes to the revitalization of an expanding neighborhood. Its location encourages the use of soft mobility: bicycles (250 parking spaces), proximity to metro line M1, RER lines C and Eole, tramway T3b, etc.

Spaces to promote team well-being

As a result:

  • More than 2,500 sqm of terraces and gardens have been created. One of the terraces will host the largest photovoltaic farm in Paris.
  • More than 200 meeting rooms, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and adapted for collaborative work modes.
  • Various dining areas.
  • Rest rooms.
  • A nursing room.
  • A quiet space suitable for individuals with autism spectrum disorders.
  • A music room.
  • An amphitheater with 180 seats.
  • A parking lot with 250 spaces.

The new headquarter is thus intended to be a place for discussion and learning. Masterclasses, Tech Fairs, TED talks, and other events aimed at clients, employees, and the entire company ecosystem will be hosted in this living space.

Technology also played a role in the move-in process with the deployment of an app that consolidates all the services offered to employees, reflecting the group's commitment to excellence and innovation.

The key objectives of the project focused on:

  • Supporting teams as they move into new premises, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Strengthening cohesion and communication within the various entities of the group, now united in the same premium real estate space.
  • Maintaining a focus on user needs and experience while managing complex technical aspects.
  • Optimizing the building's management and anticipating future requirements through dynamic and continuous data analysis.
  • Unifying access to various daily services by integrating solutions such as catering by @Serenest, connected fridges from @Popchef, and @Sportigo installations for physical well-being.
