The MA60 is an exciting new development from Cloud Electronics, combining for the first time the proven versatility of Cloud mixer-amplifiers with the convenience of an on-board media player in a single compact (2U, half-rack width) unit, and at a very keen price point. The MA60 will find many applications in the Retail, Hospitality, Licensed Premises and other entertainment markets.
The MA60MEDIA plays MP3 or WMA files directly from a USB device
or SD memory card plugged into the front panel of the unit. All standard
data rates and sampling frequencies are supported. A simple set of
playback controls is provided on the front panel.
A balanced mic input is included (phantom power available), which is
mixed with one of four music inputs; one of these may be the internal
music player. Music input 2 is provided with a 3.5 mm jack input for easy
connection of a portable music player, laptop or similar. Separate front
panel control of music and mic levels is provided, and music source
selection and level may be controlled remotely if wished. The built-in
60 W power amplifier can drive both low-impedance loudspeakers, or 100 V/70 V/50 V line systems. A pre-amp output for the connection of additional
power amplifiers is included. A secondary transformer-isolated ‘utility’
output, suitable for a MOH (Music On Hold) output to a telephone
system, can be added as an option.
