Tech Specs
The CLUB.four is perfect as a high-powered fill, extending the signature sound of Avalon by EAW™ into all areas of the club while maintaining a compact footprint. Available with matching U-bracket.

Even the best loudspeaker designers struggle to meet the demands of the dance club world. And nobody in the dance club world has the scientific background or the technical facilities necessary to design a top-quality loudspeaker system. But Avalon by EAW is different from everything else. These amazing loudspeakers result from a unique partnership between a dance club designer and a loudspeaker designer. By combining their skills, they produced the most remarkable loudspeaker technology ever applied to the dance club world.

The word here is “efficiency”. EAW engineers have specified a coaxial mid/high compression with such high sensitivity that it produces peak output of around 136 dB using only 150 Watts of amplifier power. This compression driver, used in both the CLUB.two and the CLUB.three, is then loaded with 90 (h) by 60 (v) and 90 by 90 horns, respectively.

The acoustical challenge in the mid/high region has always come from physically aligning the mid and high frequency sections to sum coherently, without anomalies in the crossover region. Because the Avalon by EAW uses a single, coaxial mid/high driver, EAW engineers have eliminated this problem entirely.

Except in rare circumstances, EAW engineers prefer to use smaller low frequency cones to avoid a loose, sloppy bass sound. To get the right amount of output, they use many of them together. The exception, of course, comes when they find a larger cone driver that has the speed required to work on its own. In Avalon, they’ve used both approaches.
