Tech Specs
The RYPS-1A is a powered relay that allows for a wide variety of equipment or devices to be remotely switched on or off using one or multiple low voltage switches (order separately). It’s ideal for applications where there is a need to switch multiple independent high current and/or high voltage circuits from a remote location where only low voltage/low current wiring is practical or cost efficient. The RYPS-1A features a compact (5”L x 3.28”W x 1.688”H) chassis with LED indicators for “Power” and “Relay On”, a three-sided barrier strip with screw connections and wire clamps, a 24 VDC output, and an attached UL Listed power supply with 6-foot cord. The steel chassis is finished in semi-gloss black powder epoxy with holes for screw mounting. Equipment connections are made to the heavy-duty double-pole, double throw (DPDT) relay that has a 5A rating for each contact. One or up to fifteen switches may be connected to the single pole, single throw (SPST) contact closure that activates the relay.
