An induction loop array system provides a solution where a simple loop around the room perimeter will not work. Arrays are the standard solution for buildings with metal structure or reinforcements, or for covering large areas. Arrays can also dramatically decrease the ?spill' of the magnetic signal outside of the room, allowing induction loops to be installed in adjacent rooms, and providing an improved level of confidentiality. Arrays can also be used to change the way two loops interfere with each other, providing ways of solving even the most complex installation problems.
Array System requirements
An Array System installation will require an Array System kit, plus a loop layout design, cabling or tape for installing the loop and other loop accessories. You must have a loop design to purchase an Array System which can be provided by you or by Ampetronic. Ampetronic can give you technical support, assist you with a design, or provide a design for you.
Array System kit
The A300 kit contains 2 x ILD300 amplifiers, 1 x SP5 phase shifter, all interconnecting signal and power cables, handbooks and guidebooks.
The kit is available as a rack mount option, code A300-RM.
