BrightSign network enterprise edition (BSNEE) gives you a more hands-on method for regulating your digital signs, as well as the freedom to sell subscriptions for your own customized digital signage network. Once you have successfully installed BSNEE, you will have the complete infrastructure to serve and support your own digital signage network. Because BSNEE is a private web application, it can be managed securely within your corporate infrastructure and network.
- Integrated Administrator Accounts: System Administrators and Order Administrators are now two different roles of the same account type (instead of being two different account types).
- Expanded LDAP Support: LDAP Account Name attributes can now be used to authenticate users in BSNEE.
- Device Setup: You can now configure players for BSNEE using the new Device Setup page in the WebUI.
- Live Media: The Create tab now includes the Live Media feature, which allows you to create Media RSS (MRSS) feeds that can be distributed to players or other networked clients.
- BSN Web API: Most BrightSign Network operations can now be carried out using a standardized library of SOAP calls.
- Audio Only Dynamic Playlists: The Create > Dynamic Playlists page now allows you to create playlists containing only audio files.
- Device Info and Device Control: The new Advanced tab in the Groups > [Player] > Properties window allows you to view recent device error reports and to send reboot, recovery, and log upload commands directly to the player.
