The iPixPanel recreates a classic switcher layout, including auto transition and cut buttons, plus eight-input program and preview busses with shift for 16 inputs. It adds device controls for the graphics system, clips store, etc. It also features PixButtons, which dynamically change to show the device attached and even the file name currently loaded, so you can tell at a glance what is loaded on every input, key, and file library button. Version 2.0 of the Apple iPad app can control any Broadcast Pix live video production system, providing an intuitive wireless control surface for the operator, or a second control surface for a second operator. The iPixPanel app controls all aspects of a Broadcast Pix system to create professional live video. It switches cameras and adds key layers. Its patented device control banks can control the system’s clip server, CG graphics and more. It features patented PixButtons that dynamically change to show the device and file name on the button for selecting with confidence during live productions. This second generation model adds a 3-axis joystick, rotary knobs, more mnemonics, enhanced connectivity, and auto-detection and configuration of the model it’s controlling. It can control any Broadcast Pix system, including Granite, Mica, Slate and the new award-winning Flint system that streams, and it works on all generations of iPads.
