The Exterior Motorized FlexShade® window shade provides convenient and easy solar control with the simple touch of a wall switch or remote. Shades can be raised or lowered quickly and quietly to the desired position to filter harsh sunlight for sun-controlled comfort in residential, commercial, or institutional settings. The Exterior Motorized FlexShade® mounts directly over the outside of your windows with the choice of side channels or cable guides to keep the fabric in place.
- Available in sizes up to 11’ x 11’ (335 cm x 335 cm) depending on fabric selection.
- Available with square or curved headbox.
- Square headbox size is 3-5/8” wide x 3-5/8” high (92 mm x 92 mm).
- Curved headbox size is 3-5/8” wide x 3-5/8” high (92 mm x 92 mm).
- Hardware finish is textured powder coat available in white, black, ivory, sand, charcoal bronze, or silver (smooth finish). Custom powder coat colors available.
- Side channels or cable guides available for secure operation in wind (secures hem bar only, not fabric).
- Weighted hem bar to stabilize shade during operation.
- Porch or patio shades should be retracted in windy conditions.
- In coastal applications near salt water, some deterioration of the operator and bracket components may occur.
