Lumens Readies for ISE with a Raft of Dante AV-H Announcements

Hsinchu, Taiwan, January 9, 2024 – Lumens® Digital Optics Inc. has announced that new Dante AV-H enabled products will be shipping at ISE 2024. The manufacturer has also confirmed that fourteen other products will be certified Dante AV-H ready during Q2 2024. This announcement shows Lumens' support for efficient next generation IP formats which accelerate AV integration and enhance user experience.

Lumens VC-TR60 with Dante AV-H auto-tracking 4K PTZ camera will be demonstrated at ISE 2024 as part of a Dante workflow in tandem with its new OIP-N60D 4K Dante decoder. The display will focus on support for IP video and audio routing and configuration via the Dante Controller software and the Dante Domain Manager which provides system alerts, user access control, remote management, and a control API.

In Q2 2024 Lumens is launching a raft of new products including the LC300 and LC300S 4K multi-channel media processors, OIP-N40E IP encoder and VC-A53 professional IP PTZ. Customers will be able to add Dante AV-H to each of these models by means of an optional license. Lumens will also update many of its existing line-up of PTZ and box cameras to be Dante AV-H ready, again via an optional license.

"By rolling out so many Dante AV-H products, Lumens is responding to the high levels of demand in the market for this next generation format. Enabling Dante AV-H will give our customers the ability to install, integrate and manage their AV products on one of the most respected ecosystems available." Commented Steven Liang, VP of Product Development at Lumens.

The tight integration of video with audio on a Dante network will deliver clear advantages in the AV and UC sectors. As well as providing synchronized sound and pictures, Dante ensures secure transport and class-leading remote device management which are essential for unified communications projects and AV installations.

"We are delighted to see such overwhelming support for Dante AV-H, both in Lumens' new products such as the multi-purpose IP encoders and decoders, and in the Dante updates across their broad product portfolio. As Dante AV-H gains traction in the market, our partnership with Lumens is growing from strength to strength." added Wim Roose, Senior Product Manager with Audinate.
