VuWall to Showcase Latest Advancements in Video Wall Management and KVM Solutions at InfoComm 2024

MONTREAL — May 22, 2024 — VuWall, the technology leader in video wall control systems and unified visualization solutions, will demonstrate its video wall management and IP KVM solutions at InfoComm 2024, booth C8070, from June 12-14. The company will showcase its TRx 3.6 centralized video wall management software platform, alongside the enhanced VuStream 150 H.264 encoder, and will be debuting the latest generation of the highly secure PoE ControlVu™ touch panel.

“We’re thrilled to mark our 15-year anniversary at InfoComm 2024, a significant milestone in our journey! Our team is eager to highlight our latest innovations, including our cutting-edge video wall and KVM solutions,” said Anna Kozel, Vice President of Marketing at VuWall. “Our commitment to enhancing all of our AV-over-IP products ensures they not only meet, but exceed expectations in performance and flexibility, enabling seamless content distribution and management for control room environments. The introduction of our new VuStream 150 encoder and ControlVu touch panel, reaffirms our dedication to security, reliability, and top-notch performance, giving our customers complete confidence in the integrity of their control room operations.”

TRx 3.6 Offers Advanced Video Wall Management and Enhanced Security Features

Visitors to the VuWall booth will have the opportunity to see a live demo of TRx 3.6. TRx is unique in offering advanced video wall management, KVM control, and AV-over-IP distribution — all from a single intuitive software platform. TRx supports not only all VuWall products but also third-party devices, and is compatible with H.264 streams accessible over RTSP. This latest release also brings enhanced scripting and security enhancements, including its recent SOC 2 certification and support for Genetec Security Center version 5.12.

With TRx, users can configure, manage, and distribute virtually any source type to any display with an easy-to-use drag-and-drop interface. TRx’s Control Panel Design tool offers operators the freedom to change layouts and control devices with a simple touch, allowing for the quick and easy creation of fully customized panels without any programming skills. The IP KVM technology, powered by TRx’s PAK KVM capabilities, enables dynamic collaboration in control rooms between operators’ personal desks, local displays, and the main video wall. The platform’s extensive API allows for the integration of existing workflows quickly and easily, providing users with the utmost flexibility by accessing various app components to streamline and simplify their workflows.

VuStream 150 Transforms Video-over-IP With High-Quality Encoding and Superior Flexibility

The VuStream 150 encoder seamlessly integrates with PAK and VuScape video wall processors, while being centrally managed by TRx. Boasting high-quality 4K encoding, 4:4:4 pass-through, 4:2:0 and 4:2:2 encoding and streaming, PoE support, and seamless compatibility with third-party software decoders such as VLC, the VuStream 150 is reshaping the landscape of video-over-IP solutions. Moreover, the VuStream 150 is NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) and TAA (Trade Agreements Act) compliant, adhering to the provisions outlined in the National Defense Authorization Act and eligible for procurement by the United States government, respectively. Additionally, as part of the VuWall ecosystem, VuWall, including its TRx Centralized Management Platform, is SOC 2 compliant, a testament to the company’s commitment to top-tier information security practices, policies, and procedures.

ControlVu Redefines Control Room Operations With Enhanced Security and Customizability

The latest generation of VuWall’s ControlVu PoE touch panel is engineered to meet the rigorous demands of command and control room environments, setting a new standard for performance, security, and flexibility. Highly responsive with 1920×1200 resolution, this cutting-edge touch panel empowers operators with the freedom to manage visual scenarios on video walls and operator desktops in control rooms, directly from a PoE tablet. This latest version delivers a higher level of security with a secure Linux operating system, a PoE port, no camera, and no other wireless options such as Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, all features that are typically not allowed in control room environments.

ControlVu is managed by the TRx platform, which includes a Control Panel Designer module that allows users to create their own touch panels easily, with fully customizable buttons and designs, adhering to the operators’ needs. All of these features are available for users to customize without having to write a single line of code.

Thought-Leading Panel on AV and IT Convergence in Control Rooms

Nick Mathis, Director of Business Development at VuWall, will be speaking on the panel “AV-over-IP & Networked Video Walls: The Evolution of Control Rooms” at InfoComm 2024 on June 13 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. in rooms W216/W217/W218. The panel, which also features thought leaders from Barco, CTI, Parker Group, and NETGEAR, will discuss how the convergence of AV/IT and network-based video-wall deployments have changed the landscape of AV deployments in control rooms, bringing with it incredible value along with new and significant challenges such as distribution and control, interoperability, operator collaboration, data management, multiwindow visualization, ease of use, and security. The panel will highlight specific solutions that are available today and how to select the right technology for these mission-critical spaces. Attendees will also earn 2 AVIXA CTS RU credits and can register by visiting infocommshow.org/infocomm-2024/av-over-ip-and-networked-video-walls-the-evolution-of-control-rooms.

Live demos for VuWall’s solutions will be running all day, every day, for the show’s duration. Visitors can schedule a meeting at InfoComm by submitting a request at vuwall.com/infocomm. VuWall and its full line of solutions are available at VuWall.
